Raven Symone

Whoever said ladies can’t be feminine and funny clearly doesn’t know about Raven Symone. I LOL and slap my knees every time I watch her live, in sitcoms, or in movies. With her humor, she’s an example of how women and girls don’t have to take themselves too seriously, that beauty and talent is no fun if you can’t throw your head back and laugh.

Ms. Symone is beyond funny, she’s a mogul—model, actress, singer, producer, designer… she’s doing it all. I’m always inspired by women my age achieving paramount success. She has the drive and work ethic of a Diva. But even with her success, Ms. Symone once said that she’s been told “No” more than she’s been told “Yes.” I’ve learned that I can’t be afraid of the No’s, that I have to be prepared for a lot of them to live the life I dream of.

Raven Symone inspires even when she’s not trying, but the best thing is that she does try. She identifies with other young women and is always willing to share her story (with humor) to uplift someone else.
